The carriages are also CNC drilled and are made from precision ground low carbon steel... +/- 0.001" thickness +/- 0.005" width +/- 0.003" square |

... the same precision ground stock is used for the ballscrew flange mounting plates to ensure squareness and alignment |

The flanges are pre-tapped with a 15/16 - 16 threadfor the ballscrews... and attach to the flange mounting plates. |
